1. Ashley Quigley struck out nine in a 2-1 win in the championship game to lead Hotshots-Davis to the 18u title in the ASA Dave Braga Memorial softball tournament.

2.  Sarah Fakler, a freshman at Xavier, finished second in the girls varsity race at the George Young Invitational covering the 5-kilometer course in 19 minutes, 19.4 seconds to help the Gaotrs to the team title. Fakler has finished second invitationals this season.
