Tesseract School’s girls varsity basketball team completed a perfect 18-0 season by winning the Charter Athletic Association state basketball championship title for the Varsity B Division.
The YMCA Division 1 basketball championship for 3rd/4th-graders went to the Huskies from Arcadia in a hard-fought win at US Airways Center.
George Matthews scored 23 points, and St. Mary’s beat Pinnacle 63-47 Tuesday, keeping their state tournament hopes alive.
