Paul Lucas of Do Right Track club won three midget (12u) boys sprint events last weekend (7/8-7/11) at the Region 10 Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships in Provo, Utah.

Lucas took the 100 meters (12.70 seconds), 200 (25.23 ) and 400 (56.36).

Ryan Silva of Tucson Elite won three youth (14u) races, taking the 400, 800 (2 minutes, 3.57 seconds) and 1500 (4:27.25) titles.

Devon Allen of Arizona Rising Suns won the intermediate (16u) boys 100 (11.37) and 200 (22.50). Allen nipped teammate Josh Barker (11.37) in the 100. Barker won the 400 (50.32). Barker and Allen were on the winning 4x100 relay team.

Other notable performances included:

Tevin Mayfield of the Arizona Cheetahs won two youth boys hurdles events, taking the 100 in 14.76 and the 200 in 26.46.

Daniel Wong of Pops Track Club won the intermediate boys 1500  (4:17.97)  and 2000 steeplechase (6:41.40).

Erwins  Jones Jr of the Phoenix Bobcats won the young men’s (18u) decathlon (5657) and the javelin (53.57 meters).

Timothy Duckworth of  the Phoenix Bobcats won the youth boys high jump (1.65) and the pole vault (2.45).

Dominic  Nappe of the Arizona Cheetahs  won the youth boys shot put and discus (40.66) .

D'Amani Grayer of the Arizona Cheetahs won youth boys 200 (23.95).

Marcus Naisant of Arizona Flames won the bantam boys high jump (1.26) and shot put (7.75).
